Chandrasekhara Astakam

ChandrasekharaChandrasekharapaahimaam
ChandrasekharaChandrasekharaChandrasekhararakshamaam
Rathnasanusarasanam, rajathadrisrunganikethanam,
Sinchinikruthapannageswarachyuthahanasayakam,
Kshipradhagdhapurathrayamthridivalayairabhivanditham,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who made the mountain of jewels in to his bow,
Who resides on the mountain of silver,
Who made the serpent Vasuki as rope,
Who made Lord Vishnu as arrows,
And quickly destroyed the three cities,
And who is saluted by the three worlds,
And so what can the God of death do to me?
Panchapaada pa pushpagandhambhujadwayashobitham,
Phalalochanajathapavakadagdhamanmathavigraham,
Basmadigdhakalebharam, bhavanasanam, bhavamavyayam,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who shines with the pair of his lotus like feet,
Which are worshipped by the scented flowers of five kalpaka trees,
Who burnt the body of God of love,
Using the fire from the eyes on his forehead,
Who applies ash all over his body,
Who destroys the sorrow of life,
And who does not have destruction,
And so what can the God of death do to me?
Mathavaranamukhyacharmakruthothareeyamahoharam,
Pankajasanapadmalochanapoojithangrisaroruham,
Deva sindhutharangaseekarasikthajatadharam,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who is the stealer of minds because of his upper cloth,
Made of the skin of the ferocious elephant,
Who has lotus like feet which are worshipped,
By Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu,
And who has matted hair drenched by drops,
Of the waves of the holy river Ganga,
And so what can God of death do to me?
Yaksha raja sakhambhagaksha haram bhujangabhooshanam,
Shilarajesuthaa parish kruthacharuvamakalebharam,
Kshwedaneelagalampraswadhadharinammrugadharinam,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who is friend of Lord Khubhera,
Who destroyed the eyes of Bhaga,
Who wears serpent as ornament,
Whose left part of the body is decorated,
By the daughter of the king of mountain,
Whose neck is blue because of the poison,
Who is armed with an axe,
And who carries a deer with Him,
And so what can God of death do to me?
Kundalikruthakundaleeswarakundalamvrushavahanam,
Naradadhimuneeswarasthuthavaibhavambhuvaneswaram,
Andhakandhakamasrithamarapadapamsamananthakam,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who wears the ear studs made of a curling serpent,
Who is the great one being praised by Narada and other sages,
Who is the Lord of the entire earth,
Who is the killer of Anthakasura.
Who is the wish giving tree to his devotees,
And who is the killer of God of death,
And so what can God of death do to me?
Bheshajambhavaroginamkhilapadamapaharinam,
Dakshayagnavinasanamtrigunathmakamtrivilochanam,
Bhukthimukthiphalapradhamsakalaghasanganibharhanam,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who is the doctor who cures sorrowful life,
Who destroys all sorts of dangers,
Who destroyed the fire sacrifice of Daksha,
Who is personification of three qualities,
Who has three different eyes,
Who bestows devotion and salvation,
And who destroys all types of sins,
And so what can God of death do to me?
Bhakthavathsalamarchitham, nidhim,akshayam, Haridambaram,
Sarvabhoothapathim, Parathparamapreyamanuthamam,
Soma varinabhoohuthasanasomapanilakhakrutheem,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who is worshipped as darling of devotees,
Who is the treasure which is perennial,
Who clothes Himself with the directions,
Who is the chief of all beings,
Who is beyond the unreachable God,
Who is not understood by any one,
Who is the holiest of every one,
And who is served by moon, water, sun, earth,
Fire, ether, boss and the Wind
And so what can god of death do to me?
Viswasrushtividhayinam, punarevapalanathathparam,
Samharathamapiprapanchamaseshalokanivasinam,
Kredayanthamaharnisam, gananadhayudhasamnvitham,
Chandra shekaramasraye mama kimkarishyathivaiyama
I seek refuge in Him, who has the moon,
Who does the creation of the universe,
Who then is interested in its upkeep,
Who at proper time destroys the universe,
Who lives in every being of the universe,
Who is plays day and night with all beings,
Who is the leader of all beings,
And who is like any one of them,
And so what can god of death do to me?
Mruthyubheethamrukandusoonukruthasthavamshivasannidhou,
YathraThathra cha yapadennahithasyamruthyubhayambhaveth,
Poorna mayor aroghithamakhilarthasambadamdhyam,
Chandra Shekara Eva thasyadadadhathimukthimayathnatha
He who reads this prayer,
Composed by the son of Mrukandu,
Who was fear struck with death,,
In the temple of Lord Shiva,
Will not have fear of death,
He would have full healthy life,
With all grains and all wealth,
And Lord Chandra Shekara,
Would give Him,
Salvation in the end.

Iti Shree Anjaneya Ashtottara Satanamavali Samaptam

Hanuman Pancha Ratnam

Five Gems on Hanuman

Veethakhila vishayecham, Jathanandaasru pulakamathyacham,
Seethapathi dhoothakhyam,
Vathathmajamadhya bhavaye hrudhyam.
I think about the son of Vayu in my mind,
Who is devoid of all desires of enjoyment,
Who sheds copious tears of joy,
Whose hair stands erect at His thought,
And who is the great emissary of the Lord of Sita

Tharunaruna Muka kamalam,
karuna rasa poora poorithapangam,
Saajeevanamaasase manjula mahimana manjana Bhagyam.
All my life I yearn to see that Hanuman,
Who is the good fortune of Anjana,
Whose face is as red as the rising Sun,
Whose glances are full of the mercy,
Who brought back the dead in the battle,
And whose fame is great.

Sambhara vairi saradhigamambudala vipula lochanadhaaram,
Kambu gala niladishtam bimba jwalithoshta mekamalambhe
My only refuge is Hanuman,
Who had reddish lips like the Bimba fruit,
Who is the enemy of the arrows of Manmatha,
Who has broad eyes like lotus leaves,
And whose neck is like a conch.

Dhoorikrutha seetharthi,
prakati krutha rama vaibhava spohoorthi,
Daritha dasa mukha keerthi,
puratho mama bhathu Hanumatho Murthy.
Let the form of Hanuman,
Which drove away the sorrow of Sita,
Which made known the prowess of Rama,
And which destroyed the fame of ten headed Ravana,
Shine before me.

Vanara nikaradhyaksham,
dhanava kula kumudha ravikara sadruksham,
Dheena janavana dheeksham pavana paka ambuja madraksham.
I saw Lord Hanuman,
Who is the result of penance of God of wind,
Who is the leader of all monkeys,
Who is similar to the Sun God to water lily,
To the hoards of Rakshasas,
And who is he protector of the suffering humans.

Ethath pavana suthasya stotram,
Ya patathi pancha rathnakhyam,
Chiramiha nikhilan bhogan bhukthwa,
Sri Rama Bhakthiman Bhavathi.
He who reads these five gems,
Which are the poems of praise of,
The son of God of wind,
Would become a devotee of Lord Rama,
And would enjoy his life for a long time.

Dakshinamurthy Stotram

Dhyanam
Mouna Vyakhya prakatitha, para,
Brahma thathwam yuvanam,
Varshishtha anthevasad rishiganai,
Ravrutham brahma nishtai,
Acharyendram kara kalihtha chin,
Mudram ananda roopam,
Swathmaramam mudhitha vadanam,
Dakshinamurthimeede.
I praise and salute that Dakshinamurthy,
Who faces the south,
Who explains the true nature of the supreme Brahman,
Through his state of silence,
Who is young in looks,
Who is surrounded by disciples who are old Sages,
Whose minds are fixed on Brahman,
Who is the greatest of teachers,
Who shows the Chin Mudra by his hand,
Who is personification of happiness,
Who is in the state of extreme joy within himself,
And who has a smiling face.

Stotram

Viswam darpana drusyamana nagari,
Thulyam nijantargatham,
Pasyannathmani mayaya bahirivoth,
Bhutham yatha nidraya,
Ya sakshath kuruthe prabodha samaye,
Swathmanameva dwayam,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree Dakshinamurthaye. || 1 ||
Similar to the image of a town as seen in the mirror,
When one sees the image of the world within him,
The world appears as if it is outside.
It is similar to his seeing due to illusion,
During the state of sleep,
That the one real fact appears as many different truths,
And he realizes, when he wakes up and sees the reality,
That he is really the one and only one soul.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Beejasyanthari vankuro jagadhidham,
Prang nirvikalpam puna,
Mayakalpitha desa kala kalanaa,
Vaichithrya chithrikrutham,
Mayaveeva vijrumbhayathyapi maha,
Yogeeva yah swechaya,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 2 ||
Like the germ inside the seed is its part,
But becomes different after development
The many places and time which are before us,
Are drawn by illusion in the board of life in a peculiar manner,
By a great savant or an expert Siddha,
Who can create them as per their will,
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Yasyaiva sphuranam sadathmakamasath,
Kalparthagam bhasathe,
Sakshaath thathwamaseethi veda vachasa,
Yobodhyathyasrithhan,
Yath saksht karanath bhavenna punara,
Aavrithir bhavambhonidhow,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 3 ||
He who exists as the real light of truth,
And shines in the false world of appearance,
And He who teaches disciples the great saying,
“Thou art that” after realizing its import,
Gets away from this cycle of life and death.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Nanachidhra ghato dhara sthitha maha,
Deepa prabha bhaswaram,
Jnanam yasya thu chakshuradhi karana,
Dwara bahi spandathe,
Jaanameethi tham eva baandham anubathi,
Yethath samastham jagat,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 4 ||
Like the light emanating from a lamp,
Kept in a pot with many holes,
Goes out in all directions,
In the person in whom the wisdom goes out
Through the openings of ear, eye, mouth and thought,
And when that person realizes that “I know myself”,
This whole universe shines after Him alone,
Who shines in the consciousness as the knower.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Deham pranam api indryanyapi chalaam,
Budhim cha soonyam vidhu,
Stree balandha jadopamasthvaha mithi,
Brandha brusam vadhina,
Maya sakthi vilasa kalpitha maha,
Vyamoha samharine,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 5 ||
Those great philosophers , who think that,
The body, the soul and the fickle intellect,
The concept of emptiness and all other nothingness,
Are nothing but themselves,
Are similar to the women children, blind and the ignorant.
It is only He who can destroy, this veil of ignorance,
And wake us up from this state of deceit.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Rahu grastha divakarendu sadrusho,
Maya samachadanath,
Sanamthra karanopa samharanatho,
Yo abhoot sushuptha pumaan,
Pragaswapsaamithi prabodha samaye,
Yaa prathyabignayathe,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 6 ||
Similar to the Sun when being masked by the serpent Rahu,
Knows that it was existing, once the eclipse is over
That man whose senses are suppressed
When he is asleep,
Because of the veil of illusion,
Realizes that he was in the state of sleep,
When he wakes up.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Balyadishwapi jagaradhadishu thadha,
Sarva sva avasthasthaswapi,
Vyavrutha swanuvarthamanamaha,
Mithyanth sphurantham sada,
Svathmaanam pragatikarothi bajatham,
Yo mudraya bhadraya,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 7 ||
Salutations to Him who shines and exhibits Himself
By the beatific Chin Mudra of the hand,
That He exists within the humans as Self,
Forever and non-changing,
Even during the changing states of childhood, youth and old age
And even during the states of sleep, dream and wakefulness.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Viswam pasyathi karya karana thaya,
Swa swami sambandatha,
Sishyacharya thaya thadaiva pithru,
Puthradhyathmana bedatha,
Swapne Jagrathi va ya esha purusho,
Maya Paribramitha,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 8 ||
The world sees as cause and effect,
The differences between us and our Lord,
The distinction between teacher and the taught,
The distinction between father and son,
And so the man is confused by illusion,
And believes in these differences,
During the times of dream and wakefulness.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Bhoorambaamsya anilo ambhara,
Maharnadho himamasu puman,
Ithyabhathi characharathmakamidham,
Yasyaiva murthyashtakam,
Nanyath kinchana vidhyathe vimrusathaam,
Yasmath parasmath vibho,
Thasmai sri guru murthaye nama idham,
Sree dakshinamurthaye. || 9 ||
To the sake of which supreme Brahman,
The universe is shining as self,
Which is Movable and immovable, with its aspects?
Of water, fire, air, space,
The sun, moon and the individual soul,
And also to those who examine the truth behind,
The meaning of this universe and find,
That it Consists of nothing but,
The God who is everywhere.
Salutation to the God facing the south,
Who is the greatest teacher.

Sarvathmathvamithi sphutikruthamitham,
Yasmadamushamin sthave,
Thenasya sravanath thadartha mananath,
Dyanascha Sankeerthanath,
Sarvathmathva maha vibhuthi sahitham,
Syadheeswarasthvam svatha,
Siddhyeth thath punarashtadha parinatham,
Chaisvaryamvayhatham. || 10 ||
The concept of the Atma,
Which is explained in this poem of praise,
Hearing which, understanding which,
Meditating which and singing which,
One would attain the state of the godliness,
And the great state of self-realization,
And also you would get the eight powers of occult,
Without any problems in between.

The following three stanzas as well as the first stanza are chanted after the main stotram:

Chitram Vata tharor mole vruddha,
Sishya, Guror Yuva,
Gurostu mounam vykhyanam,
Sishyasthu china samsaya
It is strange to see,
The very old disciples,
And the very young teacher,
Who sit under a banyan tree,
With the teacher always observing silence,
And the students getting all the doubts cleared.

Om nama pranavarthaya,
Suddha jnanaika moorthaye nama,
Nirmalaya prasanthaya,
Sri Dakshinamurthaye nama.
Salutations to that Dakshinamurthy,
Who is the meaning of the pranava, OM,
Who is the personification of unalloyed wisdom,
Who is crystal clear in his thought,
And who is the epitome of peace.

Gurave sara lokaanam,
Bishaje bhava roginaam,
Nidhaye sarva vidhyanam,
Sri Dakshinamurthaye nama.
Salutations to that Dakshinamurthy,
Who is the teacher of the entire world,
Who is the doctor to those,
Afflicted by the disease of birth and death,
And who is the treasure hose of all knowledge.

Rama Stuthi

Namosthu Ramaya sasakthikaya,
Nelothpala shyamla komalaya,
Kireeta harangatha bhooshanaya,
Simhasanasthya maha prabhaya. 1
Salutations to the all powerful Lord Rama,
Who is as black as the blue lotus,
Who wears crown, garlands and armlets,
And who sits with great luster on the throne. 1
Thwamadhi madhyantha viheena yeka,
Srujasya vasyathsi cha loka jatham,
Swamayayta thena lipsyase,
Thwayathseda sukhendra suratho na vadhya. 2
You are one without beginning, middle or end,
You create and look after and destroy the world,
But your own illusion not being a part of it,
You are involved in it your pleasure but free from guilt. 2
Leelaam vidathse guna samvruthasthwam,
Prasanna bhakthanu vidhana hetho,
Nanavatharai sura manushadai,
Pratheeyase jnanibireva nithyam. 3
For blessing your happy devotees,
You assumed several incarnations,
Of men and devas, due to your habit,
Of attached play by the three fold gunas. 3
Swamsena lokam sakalam vidhya tham,
Bhibharshi cha thwam thadhadha phaneeswa,
Uparyadho bhanwa nilkodu poushadhi,
Pravarsha roopovasi naikadha jagad. 4
You create the entire world as a part of yourself,
And rule it also and you also rule the serpent,
Carrying these three worlds, assuming,
Forms like Sun, wind, moon plants and rain. 4
Thwamiha deha brutham sikhi roopa
pachasi bhaktha masesha majasram,
Pavana panchaka roopa sahaayo
jagadaganda manena bibarshi. 5
You live within the body as fire and
digest all sorts of consumed food,
And with the help of five airs
You rule this very wide world. 5
Chandra soorya Sikhi Madhya
gatham yatheja eesa, chidasesha thanoonam,
Prabhavathanu bruthamiha dairyam sourya
mathraamakhilam thwa sathwam. 6
That dazzling power which is in the middle of
Sun, Moon and Fire,
Which exists in all beings as courage,
bravery etc is nothing but you. 6
Thwam virincha Shiva Vishnu vibhedhath,
Kala karma sasi Soorya vibhath,
Vadhinaam pradaghivesa vibhasi,
Brahma nischithamanyadhihaikam. 7
You exist for those who debate your existence,
As Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu,
And also as time, duty, moon and Lord Sun,
But all these are but ultimate Brahmam and not anything else. 7
Mathsyadhi roopena yadha twameka,
Sruthou puraneshu cha loka Sidha,
Thadiva sarvam sada sadvibhavam,
Sthwameva nanyadh bhavadho vibhathi. 8
You are only one with forms like the fish,
And as told in the Puranas and known axioms,
You are all that is known as all that is good,
And I do not find anything anywhere except you. 8
Yadyathsamuthpanna mananthasrushtavathpasyathye
yacha bhavacha yacha,
Na drusyathe sthavara jangamadhou thwaya
vinaatha paratha parasthwam. 9
Because in this creation,
nothing was and is there without you and,
Nothing is going to be there without you and
so you are the truth beyond truth. 9
Thtwam na jananthi parath manasthe
jana samasthasthawamayayatha,
Thwad bhakthi sevamala maanasaanaam
vibhathi thathwam paramekamaisam. 10
Due to the veil of illusion people do not understand
You who is the greatest God,
And so due to your service to devotees
Who have a clean mind,
They understand you as something as single and beyond and also within. 10
Brahmadayasthe na vidhu swaroopam,
Chidathma thathwam bahirartha bhava,
Thatho budhasthwamidhameva roopam,
Bhakthya bhajan mukthi mupaithya dukhaa. 11
Even those Gods like Brahma who are interested,
In things which are external to them,
Do not understand your self which is the ultimate truth,
And so your scholarly devotees get devoted to your this form.
And get rid of all sorrows and attain salvation. 11
Aham bhavannama gunai kruthartho,
Vasaami kasyamanisam bhavanyaa,
Mumoorshamaanasya vimukthayeham,
Disami manthram thava Rama nama. 12
I becoming contented with the power of your name,
Live in the city of Benares along with goddess Parvathi,
And give all those who are at the throes of death,
The powerful chant of your name for their good. 12
Imam sthavam nithyamanatha bhakthyaa,
Srunwanthi gaayanthi likhyanthiye vai,
Thy sarva soukhyam paramancha labhdwa,
Bhvath padam yanthu bhavath prasadath. 13
He who hears, sings or writes this prayer,
With heart full of limitless devotion,
Would get all the attainable pleasures in life,
And would attain thine feet by your grace. 13

Kalika Ashtakam

Dhyāna
galadraktamuṇḍāvalīkaṇṭhamālā mahoghorarāvā sudaṁṣṭrā karālā
vivastrā śmaśānālayā muktakeśī mahākālakāmākulā kālikeyam ||1||
Salutations to Kalika Devi. From Her neck is hanging a garland of severed heads from which blood is dripping down. She is making a very terrific sound revealing Her large teeth, and Her appearance is very terrible. She is without any clothes and residing in the cremation ground; Her hair is let loose and free. Her entire being is manifesting the great yearning to merge with Mahakala; She is Kalika, the Great Dark Goddess.

bhujevāmayugme śiro'siṁ dadhānā varaṁ dakṣayugme'bhayaṁ vai tathaiva |
sumadhyā'pi tuṅgastanā bhāranamrā lasadraktasṛkkadvayā susmitāsyā ||2||
With Her left pair of hands, She is holding a head and a sword, and in like manner with her right pair of hands She is depicting the Vara and Abhaya Mudras (gestures of blessing and courage). Her well-built middle torso is slightly bent with the weight of Her lofty breasts. Her lips shine with the color of blood sketching a slight smile.

śavadvandvakarṇāvataṁsā sukeśī lasatpretapāṇiṁ prayuktaikakāñcī |
śavākāramañcādhirūḍhā śivābhiś̮ caturdikṣuśabdāyamānā'bhireje ||3||
Her earrings are displaying the symbols of death and She is having a beautiful long hair. Her shiny waist belt is made of severed arms. She is mounted on the platform of corpses; and jackals from all four directions are making howling terrific sounds; and in the midst of all these are reigning Kalika, the Great Dark Goddess.

anādiṁ surādiṁ makhādiṁ bhavādiṁ svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||1||
Salutations to Kalika Devi. Viranchi (Brahma) and the other Devas of the Trinity, by taking recourse to Your Three Gunas, and considering Kali as their Aradhya (worshipable), have become the Chief among the Devas. You are without any beginning, You are the beginning of all Devas, You are the beginning of all sacrifices, You are the beginning of all the worlds. Even the Devas do not know Your transcendental nature.

jaganmohanīyaṁ tu vāgvādinīyaṁ suhṛtpoṣiṇīśatrusaṁhāraṇīyam |
vacastambhanīyaṁ kimuccāṭanīyaṁ svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||2||
You are the power enchanting the worlds. You are the power proclaiming Speech itself. You are the power which nourishes the good-hearted, and you are the power which destroys the enemies. You are the power which can suppress the speech. You are the power which destroys the pride of enemies. Even the devas do not know your transcendental nature.

You can give Heaven itself, and like a Wish-Fulfilling Creeper, You fulfill the wishes uttered with true devotion. Thus, to You the World is always grateful. Even the Devas do not know your transcendental nature.

surāpānamattā subhaktānuraktā lasatpūtacitte sadāvirbhavatte |
japadhyānapūjāsudhādhautapaṅkā svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||4||
You take great delight drinking the Sura and You are pleased with sincere devotees. You always manifest Yourself in a pure heart, the heart which is cleansed of impurities by Japa, Dhyana and Puja. Even the Devas do not know your transcendental nature.

cidānandakandaṁ hasan mandamandaṁ śaraccandrakoṭiprabhāpuñjabimbam |
munīnāṁ kavīnāṁ hṛdi dyotayantaṁ svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||5||
You are the root of consciousness and spiritual bliss and You gently smile. You are like the autumn moon which reflects ten million rays. You shine In the hearts of the sages and the enlightened. Even the Devas do not know your transcendental nature.

mahāmeghakālī suraktāpi śubhrā kadācid vicitrākṛtiryogamāyā |
na bālā na vṛddhā na kāmāturāpi svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||6||
You are black like the great cloud, red like the blood and also white. Sometimes You assume various forms through your Yogamaya (the illusionary divine power). You are neither a small girl, nor an old woman, and also not of any age filled with love desires. Even the Devas do not know your transcendental nature.

kṣamasvāparādhaṁ mahāguptabhāvaṁ mayā lokamadhye prakāśikṛtaṁ yat |
tava dhyānapūtena cāpalyabhāvāt svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||7||
Please forgive my mistakes in describing the very secret form of yours in the midst of the world.
Please forgive this very unstable conduct of mine. Even the Devas do not know your transcendental nature.

yadi dhyānayuktaṁ paṭhed yo manuṣyas tadā sarvaloke viśālo bhavecca |
gṛhe cāṣṭasiddhirmṛte cāpi muktiḥ svarūpaṁ tvadīyaṁ na vindanti devāḥ ||8||
Who reads this with devotion will become great in all the worlds. He will get the Eight Siddhis, and after death he will attain liberation. Even the Devas do not know Your Transcendental Nature.
