Flying and Falling

Marc Chagall "Jacobs ladder"
You tell me about your fear of falling but how can you be afraid of movement downwards if you look upwards?  To be afraid is to look in absolutely other side. But probably, that severe injury from a fall and the pain will not be so strong  if we foreknow about it. Probably, even better it never to fall. But so occurs and we participate in it. Certainly, all our senses and the evil spirits cannot diminish our liberty of the will in acting. Yes, we can be mistaken because we live. In cardiogram this line that goes up and down means you alive. Night and day replace each other. But it's not only punishment but favour. I consider it as display of higher Love to us. It can be shown differently to everyone. For example, if a person considers itself advanced in spiritual looks with too much indifference on temptations, and finds by sad experience that, like other, she is subject to weakness. That person is astonished at his fall, and finding himself deceived in his expectations, sinks into sorrow and despair. Although this falling is accompanied by sorrow and confusion, it is founded on a hidden pride and presumption of one's own strength. This never happens to the man who does not presume on his own strength, but places his trust in God alone. If he commits a fault, it occasions no surprise or anxiety, because he discovers by that light of truth which is his guide that his fall is due to his natural instability and weakness. But sometimes the reasons cannot be found out intellectually.  We cannot know is this Providence or only our imperfection. That is the question of reason - meaningless when confronted with the mystery and secret of love. We cannot know the reason but we can trust. To trust completely and to fall in hands of lover and loving. And we can believe in that is by failures we learn  how we are loved. And the trouble that sometimes follows our faults is not a punishment for having offended God but His mercy. And we should accept it with gratitude.
Don't be afraid of a pain. Suffering is also a mystery and secret. It cannot be avoided also. If you want to avoid suffering that it is impossible too at lifting up. Than upper you rise that you feel more. A sensitive awareness of evils and a capacity for suffering are one of the attributes of the real man. Man is a creature who suffers and feels compassion, who is sensitive to pity, who in these ways proves the dignity of human nature.
Sometimes, if we have fallen, we are greatly perturbed and our confidence is such shaken that we do not see a way where to go further. Here the most difficult begins. Maybe our biggest merit consists not in never failing, but in rising after fall.  First we must recover our peace of mind and the lost confidence. The way to recover this peace is to forget, for the moment, our faults or insults and to concentrate on the ineffable goodness of God and His desire to pardon us. We should recognise our negligibility but I understood that an awareness of this ought to lead to a creative consciousness, otherwise man enters on a downward path.
Do not look downwards: I am falling, I am failing...  Raise your heart to Heaven.
Maybe our real glory consists not in never fall, but in rising after falling.
Failure is the key. Falling in Love. Falling Upwards.
