See and Shine!

Modern science consider our eye as a purely passive organ, just as the act of seeing remains a passive process for most of the human race. Are you sure of it? Even only from the materialistic point of view, the process of seeing is largely a mental activity. The eye sees sharply only what it is concentrating upon, a process greatly influenced by acquired experience. Human vision involves mental projection as well as mental receptivity. But the real vision, you know, is not just with the two physical eyes, but it is with the eye of the soul. Here to see means to know. In all senses, the eye is like the intelligent intermediary between the Sun as the source and our inner light. It is equally true for physical and spiritual eye both.
Given that the Sun is symbolic of Spirit, then the process of seeing represents a spiritual act and symbolizes understanding. And then, the human inner eye can become itself a tiny sun. It is in this sense that Jesus said "The eye is the light of the body; if, therefore, thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." But it was impossible without a Light Source. Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya... And, who knows, maybe it is It who focus Its rays through our eyes into the world. Not only inside but also outside. So, our eyes is that  through which the higher spiritual light can manifest!  When we look at each other, our luminosity must interact with that of another. Maybe this ineffable connection bears witness to the inseparability of our inner natures? And the seeing of oneself in another can create unbreakable bonds between souls. I wish you to keep always your internal light and to shine. Love.
