Amazing Grace
Poem by John Newton (1725-1807)
Music by William Walker
Singer - Andrea Bocelli
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
T'was Grace that brought, brought me safe thus far.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a soul like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
I was blind, but now I see.
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come
'Twas Grace that brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a soul like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
I was blind, but now I see.
When we've been gone, gone ten thousand years
Bright shining like the sun.
We have no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.
