Light in the Night

  Jesus was born in the night – in the darkness, in the silence and poverty of the cave of Bethlehem. "The people who walked in darkness has seen a great light: on those who live in a land of deep shadow a light has shone", declares the Prophet Isaiah.
What is it, this light?  I think, this light does not belong to any separate religion. It is a mystery of love. The light of truth is revealed to those who receive this most precious gift. Only those who are open to love are enveloped in this light. And on this dark night we heal all our wounds, strengthen our steps, open our hearts and minds to the loving kindness of the One Heart what loves us forever.
